Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all guest of Holiday House Overslag. These terms and conditions shall be effective as soon as the reservation is confirmed.

When these Terms and Conditions are not respected the host can deny and/or refuse the guest access of the holiday house without reimbursement.

Reservations and payments

Reservations are accepted through e-mail or through third-party websites such as Airbnb and other booking channels. Current rates can be consulted on the website.

When the arrival date is more than a month after the reservation date an advance of €800 will be paid within 5 working days. The reservation is confirmed after the receivement of the advance. An e-mail will be sent with this confirmation.

The remaining balance and a deposit of €600 will be paid 30 days before the arrival date. When the reservation date is less than a month before the date of arrival, the entire sum and the deposit of €600 shall be transferred within the next 5 business days. The reservation is confirmed after the receivement of the advance. An e-mail will be sent with this confirmation.

After inspection of the property the deposit will be refunded, within 5 working days, to the same account number as the account number that made the deposit.

Cancellations

Cancellations are free of charge 30 days before the date of arrival. In this case the advance of €800 will be refunded to the same account number as the account number that made the advance. Cancellations less than 30 days before the date of arrival: 50% of the total amount will be charged. The renter will pay the remaining balance within 5 working days.

Damages and danger

Holiday House Overslag cannot be held liable for any damages, losses or thefts of movable goods of the renter(s).

Damages or losses of (im)movable goods and assets are to be reported to the host as soon as possible. Damages and losses are to be reimbursed to the host.

When (legal) disputes accure, all the (legal) costs will be for the guests.

Check-in and Check-out

On arrival at Holiday House you can find your key in the keybox. The key has to be placed in the keybox upon check-out. Check-in on date of arrival after 4PM and check-out on the date of departure before 1 PM unless explicitly agreed otherwise with the host.

Pets and domestic animals

Dogs and horses are welcome during your stay. It’s mandatory to notify the host of any animals joining when making your reservation. 

House rules

• Bed linnen and towels will be provided during your stay, free of charge
• It’s forbidden to smoke in the house. Smoking is allowed outside the house, on the terrace, providing that the area stays cigarette butt free.
• Alcohol abuse is forbidden. It is also forbidden to possess, use or trade any kind of drug in Holiday home Overslag.
